The neglect and abandonment of children in the region around Kleinlomnitz is dramatic and alarming in many cases. Many children suffer from malnutrition and undernourishment.
Kinderhilfe Slowakei – Kinderhilfe Kleinlomnitz, a private initiative launched by the Jenik family from Vienna, wants to build a Kindergarten in Hollomnitz (a village in the Presov region in northern Slovakia) to give the children the attention, care and social stability they lack.
Problem:
There is a shortage of many things that are needed in a Kindergarten, e.g. exercise books, colouring pads, crayons, pencils, craft materials, blackboards, tableware, 250 hand and bath towels, tricycles, children’s scooters and much more.
Solution:
The NEUNION-Community supports ‘Kinderhilfe Slowakei – Kinderhilfe Kleinlomnitz’ (Children’s Aid Slovakia – Children’s Aid Kleinlomnitz) in purchasing craft materials, writing utensils, hand towels and bath towels.
